ok that was awesome. I just read through your whole build thread. It got depressing at times but it looks like you're still pushing through it. can't wait to see it finished. so it sounds like fiberglass was the solution to your problem? I'm planning on building possibly a 1200g plywood tank and from the research i've done so far it sounds like fiberglass with a two part epoxy paint coating is the way to go. after this whole ordeal is that your opinion? or is there a better way to go.

Yes, at a minimum I would highly suggest 4-6" fiberglass cloth in all the corners.

Liquid rubber isn't an option as I refuse to do business with a company that doesn't respond to email requests for more info.

maybe try phoning? often works for me for many companies that do not reply to e-mails.

Oh and the red light are LED lights I used to use on my Octopus tank. They are there so I know if the GFIC trips and kills the power to the pumps.
