great pick-up. Don't worry about the algae; food for the plecos, and easiest way to get rid of nitrates.

that much??? I know im still kinda a noobie but i always figured if the algae on the tank built up that much I would scrap it away but i mean i always got a lil bit but if i can see it from across the room i figured it was an eye sore. You think i should let mine build up more??????:WHOA: o yeah i don't ever scrape the back wall of tank but i do occasionally go over it with my floatin magnet cleaner

o yeah i also run my undergravel for eco reasons and that baby is a algae gold mine!!!
