I was being serious too though. I did it a few years ago when I found a big leech about 6 inches long, and I decided to try it. On my first cast, I caught what is still the largest bass I have ever caught. It was just over 7 pounds. They are really an amazing bait when fish want to be stubborn.
 
I found one on a turtle a while back at a pet shop. it was over an inch long and about half an inch across unextended. It was stuck on the turtle's leg and made itself blend with the color of the turtle. I scraped it off of the poor turtle with a pair of scissors the store had and cut it into two pieces. I'm not sure what is grosser, the leach on the turtle's leg or the cutting of the leach into two pieces.
 
i actually want to order some hirudo medicinalis.id let em feed off me but thats a wild caught one,id be iffy on that.i havnt ordered yet as i cant find their husbandry info.
that is one pretty leech you caught their.but id say go with the fish bait sucker plan:ROFL:
