My new snakehead channa cf barca

That's definitely NOT an Aurantimaculata. They have a lot more yellow and stripes runnin across their body. Might wanna' check and check and double check before you come bursting in here with your caps on, screaming out wrong information my friend.

how much and where from, its a sick fish.?

NOT A CHANNA BARCA. THAT IS A CHANNA AURANTIMACULATA.

No one said this is Channa barca, its discussed wether this is "sp. himalaya" or "cf barca".
Of which both are variants of Channa stewartii, or very close related yet undescribed species.
The cf stands for confere, which is latin and means "looks a bit like..."
So the name "Channa stewartii cf barca " saýs, "this is a snakehead and the species is caled stewartii, but it does not look completely trhe same as normal stewartii, it looks a bit like Channa barca"

And ist defo NOT aurantimaculata !!
In some old bools there are stwartii labeled as punctata (yes they have points on the body but are NOT punctata) , or a pic of aurantumaculata is labeld als stewartii or even Channa barca. Very funny to the experts but horrible fopr newbies.

Hope this helps.
