yea but like 90% of mantis shrimp that are kept...are peacocks

I actually decided I would not get a peacock or an smasher because I was looking for something a little more rare

Why not get both! :D I know i love both smashers and spearers, and I plan on getting one of each (most likley zebra and peacock). To clarify, obviously in different tanks ahaha.

Awesome! I love those suckers; can't imagine why someone would consider them pests. Just take them out, put them into their own tank and marvel at how awesome these things can be!

Ha good luck getting them out or the original tank! They may be on the smaller side but they are definitely pound for pound more monster than anything ive come across so far.
