My Paludarium

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
An idea just came to me.
One I am not familiar with so hopefully one of you can answer.
Would adding carnivorous plants help in combatting the millipedes slowly? Or will they reproduce to fast?

We have some native carnivorous plants we could add as well if we can source them online.
Honestly I’ve never heard of using carnivorous plants for millipedes and isopods - one way to find out I suppose.
Jumping spiders are pretty cute and easy to fall in love with.
A carabid beetle would work.

The 55gal has been dismantled. It was time and it reached the end of it's life.
It turned into Jaws the mission but now I sit with a blank slate again.

Some shots from a month or two before breaking it down.

And an underwater shot. The rainbows have grown nicely and their colors are fantastic now.

I hope you kept the chain loaches.
Of course.
My loaches are all staying. the only fish I am definitely getting rid of are the three red tail black sharks.
I am contemplating giving up the Strawberry leporinus as well.
