My polys

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was thinking of getting a pearsei but i wanted two, and you guys said having two bioload will be crazy:)
The pearsei would be a good choice with polys and silver dollars. It would share a lot of the silver dollars diet and likely leave the poly's tilapia alone. They have a wonderful disposition for a large cichlid too. Its just their sheer size and waste output...

Before i rehomed her to a friend. Had this scenario when I mixed my single cichlid pearsei with my polys and dats. Beautiful fish with lots of personalities.

I might still get one, but just need to get a canister first and run a canister and sump together for good filtration.

The nicest SD are the black berry ones imo. But they cost a fortune lol. For viejas I only like argenteas

Im not a big fan, they look messy to me, lol

One time a local store had a group of 'dusky red hooks', never seen them since then but they were kind a bit thicker than a regular red hook and the color was more a blue/gunmetal body with a deep red hook. Wish I had got them.

I never seen those kinda SD's in my lfs, ive only seen them in pictures, but the black berry do look really nice, one SD that i really like too is the tiger SD. Wish i can find some:)
