This pic the bv looks like its getting its color back. Give it a few weeks maybe like clm08k suggested the bright lighth had them stressed a bit. Honestly think this is cool that we post our failures so we can learn from eachother thx bro.

Seems to me that just changing the substrate isnt the only thing that changes their appearence but the lighting too.

Maybe unrelated but check your water. I noticed that when i get lazy and my nitrates creep the polys look a little faded, maybe its from some sort of stress ? Dunno but they always look their best right after wc's.
I will keep on eye on the nitrates, yeah i think its from stress too, we'll see in a few weeks if the color goes back.

Strange how light effects them like that.
It can, ive seen some polys turn green cause the lights are to bright, mine did for sure, some polys became totally white like mine cause of the light, especially if you have a white sand and bright light.
But i guess if you can get a led light that you can fully adjust the colors,brightness, and setting onthe lights like J jaws7777 have i think you would be fine. Plus polys like the lights not too bright anyway.
