I bought this Red Texas In late July at 2" for $16.99,he was mostly black with some blotchy white but had quite a few pearls so I thought she looked like there was some potential.Anyways, here are some then and now pics for ya...

Pics 1 thru 6 -Late July 09' @2"
Pics 7 thru 12 -Late Dec. 09' @5"
Pics 13 thru 18-This week @7"-Sorry for pic quality,I used a different camera that really doesn't show her recent red that came out after moving her to a 54gal corner by herself. And the water is actually very clear, again, the camera.

Wow, what a transformation. Good job bro.

i was contacted by a guy who wants to trade my flowerhorn for his hybrid this is what he says"5+ inch red devil x texas x flowerhorn
Very unsual fish -- has the mouth and head of red devil. A few spots from the texas flowerhorn. Deep bright yellow colour. I believe it is a male as my young big head green texas male did not take to it - so remained in a divided tank. I would be interest in considering a trade for a proven egg laying female (red flowerhorn, red devil, midas or king kong parrot)
You can see for you self interesting fish and more and more white spots continue to develop on it"

the second picture is my FH the first is his fish, anyone think i should go for the trade?????? comment back please.
