Hi all,
Looking for some help of my saratoga/Jadini. I have this little saratoga about 5 months now. Got him when only has 8cm..
Ny question is Please have a look my uploaded photos. Can anyone tell me what's going on his tail. I am not sure is that a fin-rot or injury. Because he jump a lot and hit the glass or hit on the top lid..
I have put some aquarium salt and setup the temperature around 30c
Anyone know what's that happen and how to cure . He is eating as usual and very active, also I can't see any hurt or injury from his body, look very good on body, but not the tail....thanks everyone

Tank size, filtration, water change schedule? What are the readings of ammonia nitrite and nitrites?

Looks like tears and not fin rot. Would provide some floating plants.

If nit fin rot, should be cover by itself right, ant treatment need to work on?
If it’s from hitting the glass or aggression then stopping those things should help.

Keep your water clean and it shouldn’t take too long.
Sounds like you are doing ok for maintenance wise.
