Those pictures are of the same fish, the Asian striped catfish has those spots on both sides like yours.

The only one for sale I found was 22$ so if that's the average going then you got a good deal.
Oh and Planet Catfish has the max size listed at 8.3"

Some South American Pims look very similar in shape to their Asian counterparts,a dead giveaway though is the presence of nasal barbles,in Pimelodus these are absent,check out the very first pic of the one in the bag,these barbels are easy to see.
