Thanks for asking, still acting and eating normal and depending on what light he's in looks a lot better, but these pictures were literally Tauren within 2 minutes, he just swam to better lighting. No other fish acting weird, i think we're through it.

Orrrr most fish change color according to their surroundings, since the sand is light and yellow maybe it’s color is trynna camouflage

Yeah I'm guessing it's just coloring due to the light sand and dark driftwood it hangs around.
