The Dragon Blood would probably kill the less aggressive Cichlids.
It's a possibility. From experience had a Dragon Blood that I gave away he was the most aggressive African Peacock I personally kept.
The one we have only seems to be really b aggressive to orange or white colors like him other then that seems just mildly aggressive where we got him the other peacocks where trying to put him out of the water

Yes normally certain color or shape would be the issue. You are prepared to rehome so hopefully things go well.

So a good rule of thumb so to speak is 4x the length of the fish for tank length and 1.5 the width for sizing.
I think the dragon blood is the odd man out in that group. Topajo and eba will be pretty good choices.
