so egon you have been very help so far and i want to thank you for that. I was wondering tho with the bulkheads, so I can build more of a solid stand could i install the ones on the bottom with the threads inside the tank as long as i put the rubber gasket and nut on the inside as well. I figured i could also shorten the length of the threads so as to not disturb the fish. I'll be using pool filter sand as a sub-strait anyways. Any thoughts? oh and to the others that have been posting thank you for your help and encouragement. Please keep your posts coming.

No. Might work but it's not designed that way, let me explain. The gasket is designed to compress against the glass to create a seal. If the nut (moving part) is against the gasket then when you tighten you may create a wrinkle or some sort of stretching along the gasket seal causing a leak. Might work but it's not designed for that. Could cause a problem down the road.

gotcha ya so basically cut a square in both the foam and the plywood top for the threads to fit through
Yes it will be fine. I use hole saws and I go about 2x to 3X bigger hole in the wood so I have enough room to get a wrench in there to really tighten the nut. I learned this the hard way up under a stand trying to get a wrench on a bulkhead nut at an odd angle just because I didn't cut the hole large enough. There was a few choice words about the moron (me) who built the stand and I was concerned about the over all strength of the stand. Honestly a few large holes in the bottom of a stand doesn't impact the strength a bit

oh and while I have your attention what would you suggest for a pump for this monsters sump
I love quiet one pumps. Go with the 5 or 6K. They are submersible if you want and that simplifies plumbing, one less bulkhead to leak. Very quiet. Parts are easy to come by and it's easy to repair when needed. Yup, all around good pump. I use them in all my sumps and I have one extra for a quick swap out when one fails. Pumps go bad, doesn't matter who makes them. Find a pump you like and stick with it for redundancy. This one can be used externally for canister systems also giving you that extra flexibility if/when needed.
