whiskey, i agree with is300zx and SC, your lfs has been mislabeling them. its safe to say that basically any 'albino palmas' at fish stores are senegalus.
 
Thanks! oh yeah definitely senegals, this is an old thread and was told they weren't palmas a bit back, but if no one told me I'd never know. I buy from a private dealer here because the pet stores SSSSSUUUCCKKK in the town I live in, you're not afraid of the new fish dying but it killing the rest of yours from disease. I smirk when I see albino palmas now listed there-in the rare instance they have polypterus at all. To give you an idea they had senegals and endi's in the same tank, 19.99 and 59.99 respectively, BUT the dude couldn't pick out the endi, one sen. was lighter than the other, "that must be it", some poor soul is gonna get a 3" sen for 60 bux.
Next time I'll start a new thread or post in the pics sticky, in the meantime I feed and watch them grooow :popcorn:

20 bux, they were small and I got a deal, my friend works there and the owners know jack about fish so he sometimes gets the codes ummmm mixed up. I don't know if it's a big currency difference or because of shipping but when you guys talk about pricing you pay much less for fish, never saw any poly under 20 here, unless you're pulling a scam
 
I have a few senegals... great fish... theyll eat anything though
anything that goes in the tank goes in the polys...
even my oscars have trouble keeping up!
