Heck you are right around the corner from him why did you not get these earlier ?? If I had not just had the trip back a few months ago I would have been all for it again. I'm originally from Snohomish
I hesitated because I wasn't sure I wanted to have my fish food bill get any bigger. With 5100 gallons in the house and another 14,000 outside, I have to watch expenses.
I was hoping someone else would take them and remove the temptation!
I was also concerned about aggression. I'd read castexi can be aggressive. I asked John and he said he'd never seen these 2 girls be aggressive toward other rays, so that reassured me. And in the short time they've been here, I would agree that they seem very docile.
I'm a fan of brown rays, and I'm really liking these girls!

Actually, I don't have any fish in my garage. They're in my basement (and ponds in the back yard). My basement is unfinished, which makes for a great fish room. I put in an extra floor drain and utility sink, both over-sized, not to mention thirteen additional 4-way power outlets. Love it!
Ya I was thinking about making another trip back up there but would have lost too much time in.travel at this point in time. They are nice rays and as much as I saw them didn't seem to be crazy towards anyone

Didn't know too many other crazies here in Spokane kinda figured it was you once I saw the ponds in the basement. So pretty much what I am gathering is Spokane has fish nerd girls instead of guys LOL
