Looks great.

I notice that Crested Geckos are the most popular arboreal gecko in this forum.

Why is that. Yes they look nice but seems to be by far the most popular with nothing coming close.

I think it's because their calm disposition and interesting characteristics. They tame very easily with light handling and aren't quick. They mostly just hop around instead of dart away if they get loose. And people who don't like to deal with insects can feed them prepared foods.

:iagree:I saw gargs and cresteds in a herp show last year and they were really tame;) Their nice gentle critters, alongside their easy to keep and feed (low electric bill, no big need for life food) keeps them popular. I cant wait to get me some (alonside tokays, white line and days wich I miss having around):D

I'm doing something similar to this for a Tokay I will be picking up except using spray adhesive to tack on coconut fiber. I was having a terrible time of spreading silicone on the great stuff (went on the glass with a rubber spatula like a charm) so I gave up and bought some loctite spray adhesive.

How did you apply it? I used a caulking gun and then spread it around with my fingers while wearing latex gloves. Then immediately poured some coco fiber on it. I did consider using spray adhesive but I wasn't sure how safe it was to use.

After thinking about your point, and watching my loctite adhesive spray go through the great stuff like a hot knife through butter I begrudgingly switched to latex (couldn't find any silicone other than white, black, or clear). After about half way of the spatula route, I grabbed some gloves and gave it a go and then finished in 10 min (after the trip to get more caulk). I really hope latex doesn't have adverse effects on reps, though I don't think it does because back when I just got my first lizards I was paranoid and help them with latex gloves and they're fine. The only downside was the stuff spread like toothpaste.

I did pull a stupid (and cheap) and bought the bricks of coco fiber you had to reconstitute in water, so the better half of my day off was spent drying the stuff in the oven.
