Skiptons:

I worked there for a while, and while some of the people SEEM very knowledgeable, I would personally not take anything they said as law, and I would research and confirm all pertinent information. Employees there are given the leeway to do or say pretty much whatever they want. I've personally watched employees give out DEAD WRONG information, and customers walk away satisfied and not knowing better. Please take all information they dish out with that grain of salt.

FWIW, I quit because an employee came within a hair's breath of assaulting me and was not punished, nor reprimanded, nor nothin' by the boss. It just wasn't worth the extra $70 a week. Alternatively, my husband still works there 4 days a week and he has no problems. So, again, grain of salt.

125 gallon - Rickyricardo - I have one for sale when all fish and plants are out. Comes (if you want) with plant lights. LMK if you're interested, and I can PM you more info. Or, you can just bounce back a bunch of pages, the info's all here on this thread.

LBelcher, great meeting you! That wet/dry is awesome with the provisions for an auto water changing system and monster overflow. This thing is bigger than my smallest wet/dry wich is a ProClear 75!

Skiptons had a lot of really cool stuff I haven't seen anywhere else and not all of it was extremely expensive. Many sales with cool fish for 2.99 and under. Some rare and high priced plecos, Queen Arabesque, King Tiger and Leopard Frog. Big mats of Java Fern...and one of the guys working there chatted with us the whole time.

Tommy, it was a pleasure! I'm glad you're happy with the wet/dry. The pl*co seem to be doing OK. As much as I've seen them that is. :grinno:

Skiptons was nice if a bit overpriced on a few things. I went home and looked at my tank. That monster driftwood would look nice in there...

Yeah that was one of the nicest pieces of driftwood I've seen. had to be 30lbs or so.

Thanx Tommy & MMP, the tank is back up running @ 1800GHP from 2400GHP- Now more waterchanges,,,,,,,,I swear its all I'm doing these days.
