under a bridge in fl
spun it around
added cycled water
added some cycled media
added a few skeeter fish
raised it 3 inches for more clearance to the filter.

any ideas on the filter?
right now theres some scrubbies and sponges under the felt and on top is filter floss.
im going to make a drip plate, and add some cut up pvc on the bottom.
and more scrubbies-sponges-felt.
that seem like it will be ok?

Add a tee inside the tub after the 'bulkhead fitting' and before the screen (to vent the pipe). Turn the tee up in the air so that the pipe can draw as much air as it needs to flow smoothly. You can also try restricting your pumps output but venting is the best solution. Another trick is to add a ball valve to the bottom of the plumbing (where it dumps into the filter). Close it down just to the point where it stops the gurgling.

I vented one of my tanks on the inside (best to do it outside the tank). Below is the picture. Instead of having a strainer like yours, I turned the tee up and down so I could draw off the bottom (helps keep things clean).

I have been having issues with the gallery :irked: and none of the
mods care enough to help or to fix it.

My choices were the tiny pic that is in the above post and the
following monstrosity that you previously saw. The '&size=1' part of
the code returns a splat. ->
