How big are the loaches? I dont think my small ones would be safe, and I adore them too much to chance it. I have the plan now though, most likely going to keep the knife with my balas in the 200g.

5 are 5” 7 are around 8”. Maybe this knife is peaceful or just well fed. I have a lot of hides and only see at feeding time.

Had my 9” bgk in the small community until recently where the smallest fish are 1.5” Ruby barbs 2” clown loach and 2” b Dario , but can understand that they each have their own personality and temperament. Mine grew from 2” itself in that tank and never touched anything, even when the small fish were added, but you still can’t be sure.

Word. It's like 9/10 stories like that, then one who claims they are ravenous killing machines that can swallow fish their own size.

Last one I got before this one was $75 at 3" and after a week, ended up as a fine dining meal for someone in that tank. Luckily, this one is double the size for $20 more, so it's worth it. At $1600, I'm assuming you're Australian?
