Have you decided on a pump and heaters?

I take it your getting at least a big jehmco heater?

and i'm glad to see you got a step stool. but don't feel bad. I got a tank like this. My big tank sits almost 6' high and i'm 6'1" and I need a little ladder when I feed and do some tank cleaning.

so tall tanks hurt us tall people too. ;)

still working on the pump.... im gettng 3 x 500 watts from jehmco.com tomorrow... :)

Nice that will do. The 3 400w theos I got is more then enough to heat my tank. So the extra 300w you got will do great.

what are you using for bio media? all submerged right? and if so what kind. Bio max... substrate pro..... pot scrubbies...... something cool I don't know about lol. and how much bio? We know you're using filter socks for mech. lol

i got a hook up of ceramic from Infinite Aquatic coming tomorrow... also picking up my sump tuesday.... then i think i will add like 40 gallon of 1.25" bio balls...

i will do submerged ceramic and w/d bio balls... still up in the air for now...

Ever think of lining your submerged section with air stones to get more O2 to the BB. I think this is something I Might do. It's supposed to promote better BB growth.

yes... that is one of the plan... i going to place 4 x 12" air wand... on the bottom
