Damn brother, ur scaring me but at the same time ive become more anxious just to experience the time with an arapaima. (Im sure im not even going to try to keep 1 after everyone’s feedback)

Wow I do not remember writing any of this last night but I guess that is what a lack of sleep will do to you. I wrote it so I'm responsible for it. I'll make a post addressing everything I need to in a second.
Yes I am presumptuous and I won't deny it. I will however say that I make presumptions based off of how I notice people wording their posts and what they've said. In my mind, hearing that he has a silver arowana in a 100 gallon, and 2 flowerhorns in 2 different 55 gallons made me get more of a beginner vibe from him. It made me feel that he had gotten "cool" fish without really researching the requirements for them.Hmm.
That’s a pretty presumptuous statement. You don’t know this guy, and or his capabilities. Something I do know about online global communications is that it is easy to mis understand someone else’s version of English. If someone from India is speaking English it most likely isn’t their first language and there may be some communication barriers to leave to interpretation. This being said I think his plan is to rehome some or most of the current fish to a bigger set up, which he was asking advice on how to set up. I think.. I am not saying this to belittle anyone but to hopefully create an environment that newer members feel safe to ask questions. I think some times we get caught up in policing people’s tank sizes that we can forget they may not have been informed like lots of people on this site may be. I’m pretty sure no one likes a “know it all” telling them everything they are doing is wrong, but we all make friends our own ways right.
I like that you may have seen what you have done and sort of tried to tone it down a bit at the end. I’m not hating on you in anyway, just want everyone to be treated with respect even if they don’t have a doctorit in fish biology.
You're trying to make a safe environment in which new members feel safe to ask questions. It's funny that I'm doing the opposite more or less by trying to "scare" people who I presume are beginners into not trying to take on bigger and more delicate fish such as stingrays. You saw where I mentioned me not thinking he could keep up with the maintaince of a stingray, that was me trying to install the thought of "wow, that fish must be hard to keep. I better not get it until I have more experience". I may come off as rough but I do it to help people by scaring them if you will into not getting something that could be too much for them to handle. I have been wrong several times about people being beginners which I will admit to. If I am wrong about it then I'll apologize and view them in the new light that they have.

Well after taking everything into consideration... tips and lessons from some of you ... I’ve decided to keep 1 Arowana, 2 stingrays in the new tank.

The tank size is 7ft x 3ft x 2.5 approximately 350-400 gallons, will this work if i try and put 2 aro’s in 1 tank?
I still need some guidance on the type of filteration and what should I use to decorate my tank.

That tank should be great, I think you could have other tank mates in there like some datnoids or oscars. As for filtration I would go with a sump, either a wet/dry or submerged sump as these are the cheapest to set up and very effective. I would say a 100 gallon sump would be good. Imo the tank shouldn’t really be decorated as none of the fish you have need to hide and the rays need a lot of floor space. Maybe a peice of wood that they can go under but the decorations are really just for youWell after taking everything into consideration... tips and lessons from some of you ...
