May sound funny but I used some fishing line and silversides. I bent tip of line like a hook and stuck in silversides mouth. I drug it through water like a lure and it grabbed it. Did this 3 days and he would eat as soon as you dumped a couple in the water after that

Love these guys, they are almost jumping out of the tank to grab the freeze dried krill out of my hand.
