New project, will take a long time

Let me explain better, pulled the lever on the system and the full force of the pond rushed into vortex one. All the preasure had clearly cleaned the inside of the pipe as all the mud, clay etc. that had been slowly filling it for the past month filled up vortex one, either that or there is a huge underground leak:eek:, unlikely as I the level didn't seem to have dropped over night.

I'll guess I'll find out tomorrow, so anyway the leaks, the tank connector was resealed and the little leak on the intake pipe was sealed but only from the outside, I couldn't get inside it because the vortex was in the way, I couldn't remove the vortex as the bracing was in the way, I couldn't remove the bracing as the pond might have failed, if the reseal doesn't work it might just be one of those things I have to live with.

Anyway it's full, if it's still full in the morning I'll be much happier, at least half it is working then, also leveled off around it on the off chance everything is still in one piece in the morning and at least the flagging can be done:

If it's not full in the morning I may have created the world biggest FAIL thread

Bro that full pond is just beautiful...something about filled to the top that does something to a person...I have faith it'll be fine...
Oh BTW, I have one more "off shore" tip/trick to share with you for the tiny leaks you have...I'll PM it to ya...~Zennz

Cheers Zen, alway welcome more info, lets just hope it doesn't drop by the morning. We are just talking about pin prick holes, nothing too serious, at this rate I'll get a job at sea, I'll be fully qualified :D

Plus you wouldn't want to see my face anyway at the moment, funny story:nilly:

Thanks Carl, I alway worry about joking with new members in their threads:)

Thanks, it does feel better seeing it full, and it is still full, 24 hours and no water loss so if there are any leaks they are not in the pond, drain or the underground pipes which is a big relief. Still need to check all the plumbing at the back, after 2 weeks solid working on it I took a day off and to make things worse I'm back in work again tomorrow so progress will slow now. It's such a shame about everything leaked or I think we would have got it done.

I've still got time to check for new leaks and slowly work the water to the end of the filters one pipe at a time, patching up if needed as I go.

looks great if you arnt going in for a swin can i come round and try for you lol
