It was actually 2” short. The customer didn’t have the 8’ wall space hence the 94” long
Just sold it last week. I built the whole truck in my garage starting in 05’Wow how about that silverado laying frame in the driveway

@jsodwi That's some excellent work man! I'm working with a friend to build a stand for a 185 (put up a post in the DIY channel). The recommendation he got from the steel shop was to do 1.25" tubing at 1/8" thickness. Looks like you're going with wider tube on most of your builds -- do you think 1.25 is sturdy enough for a 185 or should we build it out of 2"? I feel like 2" would be sturdier with less cross bracing anyway.
It's a shame you're not closer to St Louis or I'd just buy a stand from you. You got an online shop up yet?
Thanks for the quick response! Do you have a picture handy of any of those 180 stands? I feel like it’s probably a fair bit cheaper to go to 2” if you can cut most (or all) of the bracing.
Thanks! That’s way less welds than what I had in mind.
Here’s what we built. 2” steel tubing, and he set the gussets back half an inch so we can build sides out of finish plywood and leave the exposed metal.
