Drive is their energy level kind of. And not just energy level to run in the yard and be a puppy. It includes their desire to work and please. Working can include playing with a toy, protection trianing, weight pull training (which I don't do at all), obedience training and stuff like that.
A high drive dog is one that doesn't just want to lay on the couch all day. It can be ok doing that, but can turn it up when they want to. A high drive bulldog also has to have a good temperament. High drive with bad temp WITH THE WRONG OWNER can be VERY bad.
