Bumping an old post, not to start new discussions..

Could anyone recommend any alternatives to Hex shield? Been fighting hex with geophagus on and off for a year, sick of soaking the food. Could use something like this.

As mentioned above, the medicated food from Ken's fish is pretty good. I've used it myself when I had African cichlids.

I have recently started to experience early signs of HITH in my juvenile Geo’s (interestingly I have a number of wild caught manacapuru in the same tank and they do not appear to be affected (yet!)) and I was wondering what you have been doing to manage it over the course of the year?
Any input would be appreciated.
