thanks guys . . i can't remember the name of the river that the dorado were in but photos were taken at a variety of different locations in the region.
 
Will you take me next time, please? I've always wanted to go snorkeling in the Amazon.
 
i was going to say that the bottom of the river or lake etc was so awesome... nothing man made thats for sure.. so beautiful and natural... is that a pacu in the last pic?

Bruce they're not serpae's the serpaes are further down the pictures ..

amazing how biotype can change so many times over such a short period of water - did a 1.7km drift on one river and must have seen 20 different environments, from shallow rapid gravel void of plant life - to still quiet dark pools with 2 ft of black silt - will post some biotype shots when I get a chance -
