Is it possible to get largemouth bass off feeders and onto pellets or flake food??

if so can some one tell me how to do it because the only thing they eat right now are feeders.. they are about 5-7"

I would say try switching to frozen bloodworms first then try going from there?

Hold the feeders in your hand, get them to eat from your hand, eventually working in other types of food. Soon they jut just grab whatever you drop in the tank.

All I do when I cannot get a fish to eat prepared food is just keep dropping in the kind of food I want them to eat. The only problem with this method is that you will have to clean your tank everyday for like a week staight. But then you get used to better tank mantanence and all your fish are happier anyways. My LMB ate prepared as soon as I got him as did my bowfin. The only problem with the bowfin is I have never seen him eat live.....

I got my largemouth onto pellets, heres how i did it: when I first got it I fed it minnows that I caught in local creeks. Once it got used to me as a food source it would sit just under the surface to wait for me to throw in food. At this point I began feeding it frozen (but thawed) krill. It started eating this right away. After a few days of this, I began feeding dried krill (to help it get used to "hard" food). It also accepted this right away. I fed this for a few days, and then skipped a few days of feeding. Then I threw in a pellet, and he chewed it for awhile, but spit it out. I only offered it pellets from then on, and eventually it started eating them. A little time consuming, but well worth it!
