My rescue jardini nothing compared to some of the aros on here but he’s become one of my favourite fish super chill and graceful starting to get some colour in his scales. Arm photo for size perspective. Excuse the particles in the water fed him up on shrimp before the photos

Awesome, How did you get one in this color? I'm new to the Arowana scene but since I finally have a tank big enough for one I can't wait to get one. This is the Asian variety right? Aren't these illegal in the states?

You do realize that post was made 12 years ago, right? In any case it appears that fish_monger was merely posting a photo (of yes an Asian Arowana) he saw somewhere online, he didn't appear to be claiming ownership and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't own one in the US due to reason you stated
