My largest warm water cyprinid.
My 25” photo bomb loving black shark.
At the opposite end of the scale in both size and character........... I have Puntius (Pethia) Gelius but getting a photo of these extremely shy 1” golden barbs is almost impossible!

After all the years of Cichlids, I'm slowly getting back to a low stress, relatively peaceful riverine set up & for that nothing beats Barbs.
I had forgotten how colorful & awsome looking a large school of Barbs can be.

I have odessas, rosy, dennisons and beardless barbs in my 180. Here are some pics of my bigger barbs in my 360. Always difficult to get good pics of these guys as they're always on the go. Top to bottom, tinfoil (altus) about 11", lemon fin barb about 12" and cigar barbs, biggest 13".
Newly catch Siamese Algae Eater @ Crossocheilos sp. 10". They can grow even bigger.
