Hello; If memory serves the solar flare pulse affects the magnetic filed of the earth. I think it can have a strong effect on the part of earth facing the sun when the pulse hits. A direct hit can wreak havoc on the power grid if I am thinking correctly..

Just heard that McDonald's,in an effort to reduce calories will be deleting the slice of fake cheese from the burgers in their Happy Meals.....Who eats a meat sandwich with no cheese!?!?
