Official Off Topic Discussion Thread #1

hello; Server switch? why would that run people off?
It caused the site to be down for quite a few days and some posters either gave up waiting or lost interest in whether or not it would be back....and turned to the open and welcoming arms of Facebook.

I haven't done them either.I did have an account with Instagram though. That was what we in our car club used to communicate and stay updated on upcoming functions.

Nice Rock!.....what plans do you have for it?

Thanks krich!!! Not really sure. A friend bought it recently, then found out he had to get rid of it. I'm going to daily drive it for the time being. I'll paint it, put some old Cragar wheels on it, redo some of the interior, actually this may turn into a car for my gf. I thought it was a good deal, so I swooped it knowing I could get my money back.

Need details and pictures of interior. Small block? Big block? Auto? Stick?

Lol, it's dark so I'll get more pics up soon. I took that picture on the drive home. But no big block, no small block, it has a straight 6 and a powerglide (2speed automatic). Lol, it's actually what I want. I don't want to be tempted to hotrod it, I have other projects. It's all there, all original fairly good condition considering it's 45 years old. It runs great, shifts nice, I have a 70 Camaro, and 72 Firebird, lots of the parts are interchangeable between the three so that's nice too.
