Official Off Topic Discussion Thread #1

If you can not trust your Supervisor or feel you can not bring the Manager and if not him the director of your department. Point being in cases of sexual harassment you want to have one other person there besides you and the HR manager at the meeting.

Nanana! What pops says is all wrong. For every nudge she gives you, push up on her three times as much! Don't be afraid to let her know you enjoy the show. If you think she's ready, wait till you have some nice quiet together, and BAM, show her what's up!!!! :naughty:

After 10 years of mandatory sexual harassment training as a manager best to go to your supervisor, have them right down the statement hand take it to HR. never interoffice mail it, needs to be hand delivered.

Either way cover your ass. Nobody should ever feel stress with there job do to anothers actions. Male or Female.

go to HR, If you don,nt. and something goes wrong you will be screwed. If I was your super and you told me this, I would go with you and talk to the HR manager. I would also have to right up a report. and bring that with. Not you, me.

Do not talk to any other team members about it. I can not stress that enof. Not now, not after going to HR and not after, ever.

Let HR handle it, may be she just needs some training on how to act in a professional setting.

While this sounds good in theory and in a perfect world should be the right thing to do. It would also be career suicide.

It's like reporting a safety near miss. Which everybody knows you keep your mouth shut on that. He said she said is not the game you want to play with corporate.

My lead has a clinger at one of the mills. He says always have a witness, no touching/ gazing, & play dumb like you didn't notice lol

HR is like dealing with a safety director. The less you tell them the better.

ok, well I have a great HR at my company. I have used them many times. If you think of them as the enemy then thats what they well be.

for me they are there to cover my ass and my employees in sticky situations.

As an FYI I work at a work at will company. you can leave for any reason and no reason and you can be let go for any reason or no reason.

And HR does not fire at my company, they stress this hard, I do, they just advise and offer training ware needed. in the end its up to me , whither offer training or say nope lost cause, please take the rest of your life off.

bottom line, I well not put up with any employee that makes any other employee uncomfortable or stressed, I will try going to HR with my Employee and see if perhaps some training can correct as HR offers this. If not, then sorry. If shaking your ass and touching is more important than your job, see yu would not want to be yu.

@pops If it’s not too much to ask I was wondering what your company does?
