Aww Krich, it's so cute. Such a tiny little nest, and there's only one little fly, all on its own, aww. Surely it won't hurt to just leave it be..........fast forward a couple of months and Krich is packing his suitcases and moving out, lol.

We had bees around when I lived in Washington and in Arizona, but I never saw a hornet or a wasp until we moved back to Kentucky.

Bees are a big big thing here in the San Joaquin, since agriculture is such a big thing. You find people selling jars of homemade honey out on the local roads.

In Arizona we had some bees that live in the ground, which I thought was quite unusual.

The way my wife plants flowers there are always bees buzzing around.

Haha!....just now seeing your post. There I was chilling on the front porch after a bit of yard work, happened to look upward after a few sips of Mint Julep and there the little buzzer was, staring down at me....of course the other two were full sized but this makes the third nest that's been built in the past few years.I don't know what it is about my house that attracts these creatures.

I have never tried a mint julep before, they arent a common drink here. Do you mix it yourself or buy premade?
For some reason I always associate it with Gone with the Wind but ive never even seen that movie.

I'm sorry, but the world "Native" has been canceled. Also "Field", "Grammar" and "Blacksmith".

Some by Oxford, and some by Berkley. It's like some bloody "transworld" competition.

(Oops . . . not yet . . . . but you have to won't wait long.)

.....talk about overcast, but of a different sort, there is a ton of smog blowing around which has come all the way down from forest fires in Canada.I don't even want to look at all of the devastation.
