Haggis is simply a savoury pudding originating in Scotland. The ingredients list would have you barfing, lungs, amongst other choice entrails, but the addition of spices and what not make it surprisingly tasty. In fact, I love the stuff, lol.

I don't know if you guys are familiar with black pudding, made primarily of pigs blood and fat, but haggis is similar really in as much that both dishes were born out of poverty many decades ago as the ingredients were virtually free from the abbatoirs.

Yep,that really does sound like a fishy version of pork scrapple!

Haggis! Never knew what it was, but I thought it might be Scottish as I remember grounds keeper Willie talking about it on the Simpsons lol. That does sound gross. Actually it sounds like a sausage us Navajo make with goat blood.

Some people can't stomach these type of foods, they won't go nowhere near them. My favourite by far, an absolute delicacy imo are lambs fries, or sweetbreads, or lambs TESTICLES!!

Sliced thinly and shallow fried they taste very much like grilled pork chop/fried spam. Obviously they are a seasonal thing and not many butchers stock them at all, if any, you have to order them.

I was lucky to have once worked with a guy many years ago who lived on a smallholding, and each spring he would bring bags of lambs boll**ks into work for the guys.

Luckily for me, there weren't too many takers, lol.

Incidentally, I have never seen lambs fries, or any other animals testicles for sale, in any UK supermarkets, ever. The odd local butchers shop yes, but even then they're rare.

But when I went to Florida in 2009 I fortuitously came across a packet of vacuum packed bulls boll**cks in a store whilst stocking up on provisions.

I was amazed, and delighted all at once. They tasted just the same as lambs.

Like I said earlier, I work in a rock quarry and after we have a blast to free up the rock,

The 70 ton haul trucks bring the rock to me and dump it in my crusher.


The rock gets shakes down until it goes through the jaw where it gets crushed

The left jaw die is stationary and the right jaw die moves to crush the rocks. After wards it goes up the following belt and drops into another crusher where it gets crush

After it gets crushed it goes down a belt you can’t see, then goes the the belt on the left where it gets deposited on a pile.
The pile has a few boxes inside of it that shake to get rock to fall onto the conveyor belt you see coming away from the pile. It then goes up the other belt where it will be crushed again and again to various sizes.

This is my hammer which I use to break up the rocks to big to go through the jaw or get rocks unstuck.
