If you catch the bruise/bump earlier, boil an egg and rub it on the spot.

Sounds weird but my wife has done this with my nearly 5 year and it has removed all bumps and bruises without fail everytime.

There was onetime I took her(daughter) to the mailbox and she fell off her bike. Her nose was scrapped up and the was a scratch on her chin but I didn't seen the bump on her forehead(yes, she was wearing a helmet). Two hours later my wife came home and found this marble-size bump. She did the egg trick and in two more hours the swelling was completely gone and there was hardly any bruise.

Just do like my daughter does. Post pics of the injury poking fun of how much a clutz the kid is. Out in the open, everyone knows, problem solved.

+1 just found out earlier buffalo is #5 on the highest snow level in the country.. woke up to a white out this morning but its gone now. I have a love/hate relationship w/ lake erie, thats why we have such bad snow around here. Lake effect. It would be SO boring around here w/o it though. Deadly boring
