So I just started with one of these and hes been amazing to watch he started in a 30g and has just moved to a 90g with a few friends, I have two ac110s on the 90 and may add an ehiem to it as well if needed. I water change every 3 days View attachment 775847

These guys in the 90g are all in what I call transition. They eat mp and take pellets every once and a blue moon. Im trying to get them switched over.

Thanks. I put my shoplight on top of the tank's single 36" light for the photos. I only do it for my monthly update because I'm sure the bright light is not good for them.

here's a update on my xingu's if yall dont mind me posting on here..i got my xingu's on feb 9,2012..almost exactly 3 months ago..they were about 2-2 1/2'' when i got them and now the smallest is 6'' give or take and the biggest is 7 1/2'' to 8''..4 out of 6 xingu are fully pellet trained eating massivore while the other 2 are eating frzn shrimp stuffed with massivore pellets..currently no substrate..temp is at 84-86 degree's..aquarium light comes on at 8pm and goes off at 1 or 2pm forgot what i set the time off at..during the day they use natural sunlight..i have noticed a huge change in their color by using natural sunlight..i feed normally threw out the day..if i walk up to the tank and they swim up i feed them..most eat about 10 massivore pellets a day..maybe more..as far as filtration still using a fx5 soon will be 2 of them..just been busy getting everything ready for my son before he is born..but here's some pics i took this morning and enjoy..
