Got an albino senegal coming my way next week. I'll be using the time to keep a close eye on the other 2 bichirs that are currently in there just to make sure they aren't sick. But i have yet to see any symptoms of what my rope has.

Trying to decide on what other top dwelling fish I want to eventually add to this tank.

The plan right now is ...
2 Senegal (1 currently owned 1 Albino about to be currently owned)
1 Delhezi (Currently owned)
1 Palmas Polli
3 Rope Fish (1 of which is currently owned)
1 Ctenopoma

I'm considering things like thicklip gourami(s), snakeskin gourami, or a small school of tetra/barbs

What are you suggestions? I'm trying to be cognizant of the fact that my rope is being difficult as far as feeding and i'm not sure how the other 2 future ropes will be. So I don't want something that is going to make it impossible to feed them or the bichirs. Also very weary stocking to the point that I have to do more than weekly water changes.

Flint town!
Most tetras and barbs will be eaten. Congo tetras, filamented barbs, spanner barbs, large larger bodied tetras like diamond, bleeding heart, black skirt may survive. I started the 180 with 6 black skirts and im down to two. No bodies so........

I'd probably be ok with an occasional tetra becoming a meal. I'd get the gourami for sure but concerned about it getting along with a ctenopoma
My snakeskin looks for trouble sometimes. Chalceus are very nice if they have enough space :)

Hmm I like personality though. The chalceus just reminds me of a large tetra. Doesn't appear to have much going on up stairs.
It's pretty true haha. Fastest growing fish I owned though, went from 1.5" to 4.5" in a few months!
