If you havent tried it yet please do. Just cant be the only thing it eats. Keep trying the other stuff too. Fatten him up on tilapia then give a few days and try some pellet again. Also try breaking the carnivore pellets in to 3 smaller pieces.
As already advised by the others. If u can get those pieces so small enough they are gulped up with one motion/bite then it’ll be quick. Especially with the tilapia. My old ropes ate everything I offered. If the pieces were a bit bigger would mouth on it and move on and try another. Keep trying and I’m sure U’ll have success.

alright. i'll keep that in mind. i've had him for about 3 weeks now and the only thing i've been able to get him to eat is blood worms. i've soaked the pellets with them and he mostly ignores them still. sometimes he'll take a bite but then just spit right back out. i've starved him for up to a week and tried with still no success

Flint town!
When I got my first 4 ropes I had to break up the carnivore pellets for them to eat them. Just like you are saying they'd mouth them but wouldnt eat them. Problem was the size, it smelled like food was just to much work to eat them. I tried breaking them in half that was still to big. Thirds seemed perfect. My ropes we're small two were less the 8" more like strings then ropes. It took my fish awhile to eat the bug bites but now all of them eat it and go nuts when I put some in the tank the small size would be perfect. Even my bigger polys search those out now too. They are hard at first but soften quickly and the ropes love them once they soften a bit. Tilapia tilapia tilapia tilapia....

i haven't paid much attention to bug bites before. I ordered some blackworm pellets to try as well. We'll see how that goes. If that doesn't work I'll just have to break down and do the tilapia but may give the bug bites a try

Got an albino senegal and ctenopoma headed my way from trinsfish.com

If you guys have never ordered from them I encourage you to check them out. They don't have a ton of polys available right now but for all of your other fish needs I highly suggest them. I've been ordering from them for a few years now and I've never had a DOA or unpleasant experience. I also have a coupon with them if you guys ever want to use it.

I’ve ordered from them prior with good experience. They get some good stock on occasion.

My guys don't care for carnivore or massivore. Only the wolf eats it.

Try mushikg small pieces into tilapia making a meatball. Then gradually use less tilapia
