Good job, very nice of you to save those arows, even if you didn't plan on getting them in the first place.
That's a great suggestion. Maybe I can paper mache it all over and make it look like a volcano with a big opening. What was your thinking on the waterfall, the outflows from the W/D are barely a foot above the surface if the pond is filled up, am at a loss how to do a water fall effect without sacrificing the water passing through the various cabinets for mechanical and bio filtration.cichlid_starter;3527627; said:You should come up with a way to make the outside not look like an above ground pool and also turn your filter into a decorative waterfall. That's my vote.
For now, I cover the pond every night with a light tarpaulin, I tied plastic straw ropes all over the top sorta like a spider web to prevent the tarp from resting on the surface of the water. However, I uncover the pond during the day to give the fish ample lighting and exposure, they seem to get restless when it is covered during the day, I heard loud thuds a few days ago when the pond was covered during the day. Don't know if they were aro jumps or ID sharks thrashing the water during the course of their rough play.cichlid_starter;3527627; said:Have you decided what to do for jump prevention on the aro's yet?
