I am planning to move my oscar (2 inch) in a 75 gallon tank i am thinking to add bichir, endlicheri, silver dollars, pleco my problem is how many will i add in this tank.

In setup, what is better to use as substrate? sand or gravel and what color is better white, red, black etc.

What kind of Oscar? Best substrate color would depend on what color the Oscar is.
Personally, an Oscar should be a solo fish in a 75. They get very large and produce a lot of waste. Any other fish will result in you having to do very heavy, very frequent water changes.

He is an albino oscar. Im thinking to use a black gravel to contrast his white color.

How about just one bichir? Will it be fine with that? My sump has also pothos plant and chinese evergreen for some nitrate reduction.

0 Bichirs! For one, they are from different continents, and 2, you would need at minimum 90 gallons for both, and even then, you are looking at biweekly waterchanges to tri-weekly water changes.
I think the different continent thing is over used. There’s places on the same continent with totally different conditions and different continents with similar conditions.

I agree with this although some are Biotope particular. It's about compatibility temperature range and water type PH, KH, and GH. I personally have a couple of setups with fish species from different continents in the same aquarium. I was at one time before joining this great forum mixing fish together without considering what waters they natuarally came from.
