oscar tank mate and setup in 75 gallon tank. Any suggestion?

I agree that the O would be best suited to solo life in a 75, and I really like the idea of an albino over black sand!

75g is too small for even a single Oscar IMO.

Imo, yes. You would be doing bi-weekly water changes, and may need to upgrade.

Ahaha! Let’s see...I think 8 months ago. But I have been keeping little Tanks for a bit. I‘m not trying to act like a professional. Just helping.

I agree with Deadeye and others. A 75/90g is the absolute minimum for an Oscar. Please don't take this in a bad way as I have kept an Oscar in similar conditions. The only tankmates that would fit is possibly dithers (may be lunch though lol). Maybe a cat or a pleco might work. I kept mine completely solo. Oh, I vote for black substrate. GL

Here is he now, im glad that he didn't uproot the plants in the pots. May be because he is just a baby. I still experimenting with a planted tank.

Can i add a golden nugget pleco or just a common pleco? I want a fancy pleco, for its color.
