Oscars and plants?

you must have gotten that rare aggressive oscar because for the most part they pretty much leave anything too big to not be food alone
 
I silicone my gravel to the base of my fake plants so when the oscar moves it around it still kind of looks like it is supposed to be there. As for real plants maybe you can try Java fern, it is pretty tough and you can rubber band it to a large piece of driftwood. That way when the oscars move the driftwood the java fern goes along for the ride.

Hahaha man my pleco picks on my Oscars....gental giants, infact they have not been agressive twards each other at all really. I'm hopeing I may have ended up with a pair?

yah I'm going to try tying down some java's and anubis to some DW as well as a big rooty sword anchored with some stones and see what survives. :popcorn:
