Overstocked, understocked, switch my tanks around.

Well, here are my current set-ups.

29gal: 1 paradise gourami, 1 male betta, 7 cories, 8 platies, 2 idiotic tetras
10gal: 5 female bettas
5gal: 1 male betta

The 5 gallon seems kind of empty. I wanted to switch a few fish around... what do you think?

Also, the platies aren't breeding for me. I can't ever get livebearers to breed. No idea why, but it's kinda a good thing.

So what do you think?

i have to admit my livebearers never did breed....then i fed them to my senegal as a punishment lol.

your stocking seems fine. some people give a 10 gallon for a betta by itself.

Take 4 females and put them in the 5G, then put the male that was in the %g into the 10G and try to breed them.

I've tried to breed bettas but it never works

My males are all ***. Plus they're just old pet store bettas.

NO!!! dont do it like that, your female bettas re 80% likely to ripthe male apart... if u want to breed betta's then u need to indroduce a M anf F slowly making sure they are both game, let the magic happen then remove the female!!!

your males cud be too old to breed in that case...
