Pacman vs. Pixie Frog??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What was with that?... That was totally out of the blue getting defensive...

I guess the Pacman/Pixie debate can get you pretty heated?;) I like Pacmans, I really do. But at the moment I have 2 budgetts, and 2 Pixies so the four of them are keeping me busy for now. I also had my last Pacman die on me and I felt pretty bad so I haven't bought another until I can give it %100 best care. Luckily my pal Ben has been helping out with the frogs, so until I do it all by myself, that means I can't get another!!!

i have keeped pac man's in the past' i now keep pixies, for me its the pixie, they are more active

Fantasy horned frogs are a hybrid between the Ceratophrys cornuta x Ceratophrys cranwelli.

Currently for me I have have three pyxies, one male, one female, and one unsex young, along with a pacman. And I gotta say the pyxies are by far the easiest frogs to raise as they have never refused any foods offered. My male is very close to the 8" svl mark right now and I only bought him and the female at half dollar size at the beginning of this year:headbang2

I'm getting a Cranwelli Hybrid Fantasy soon! I cannot wait.

Abosulotely amazing arent they?

ive had too many pac mans that just stop eating. i have currently given up on those frongs, next frog i get is going to be a pixie, they seem a lot more interesting...

well about that, all of my petco/petsmart said they couldnt get them. and my LPS said they could only order and full grown one.... man the west coast sucks!!!

From what I understand there's alot of breeders on the West Coast, that's where I'm planning on getting my next pyxie from.

Since it's winter not alot of people are selling them right now but you can still order them online at Kingsnake.

Here's an old pic of my male pyxie: Skinny:grinno:
