Was going through old pics of fish I have owned over the years. Wish I took more pics of the cichlids.
The first pics were from 2 smaller tanks-25g, 55g and 72g.
The 55g had a salvini, firemouth, robertsoni and swordtails. Had zero aggression issues except the firemouth.
The 72g once had the h. Cyano and then Oscar. I sold the Oscar because I felt the tank was too small. He kept knocking the glass lids off. I had a group of silver dollars but he kept knocking them out of the tank. I would be in the other room hear a bang, then find the lid in the tank and a silver dollar on the ground. Had to rehome them. He was my one and only SA cichlid I have owned. He also had HITH which was probably due to the small tank and my hard water.
The 25g was a grow out tank (use it for a hospital tank now).I had this male convict for 15 years. He was 7”. He was also nearly blind so felt the smaller tank solo was best for him at the time. He was having trouble navigating in the 55g.
