In all of us keepers’ defense, I see peacocks all the time and they just sit their fat asses near a rock or stump and only will travel about 3 feet for some food lol

I agree but websites often states that these fish can thrive in tanks of 30 gallons as juveniles and 75 gallons as adults but i would say keep a single one (no other fish) in a 200-300 gallon tank. Its just like an oscar needs 55-75 gallons minimum as one fish only.
But ther good gamefish is the fathead minnow which can thrive in an aquarium of 15-20 gallons per fish and sunfish can thrive in a 55-75 gallons per fish and probably 80-100 gallons for pumpkinseeds and 1000 gallons for 3-4 trout or bass (300 gallons per trout or bass) these fish need cold temperatures so instead of a heater we need a chiller
