Imagitarium has been trash for a while. Never have bought one of their aquariums never felt compelled to because I am an acrylic type of guy and my smallest tanks were Aqueon 55 gals, but I may buy a small 20long and see how it holds up.

I could care less where they are made but given how poor the silicon was on the aqueon aquariums i want to know if the imagitarum are better made. there were two issues - one was the actual application of the silicon but the other is the silicon they used on smaller tanks (29 gallon and smaller) seems to disintergrate after 5 to 8 years.
funny, the majority of my tanks are AGA/Aqueon 40b s, 65 column, 75's, 90, 125 & 2) 180's

the only tank I've had issues with was my marineland 180- which i resealed.

I've never really been that familiar with Imagartarum brand but i did buy a bag of sand once and it was more like cat litter then actual sand i put it in a tank and it clumped up just like when a cat goes pee in the liter box "i said well i'll never buy that brand again"

haha I made the same mistake- on a tank with an fx6- which meant i almost immediately had to deep clean the filter
