Welcome to the forum! I love seeing different colored oscars as well. Make sure you have really, really good filtration if you are going to do an O in a 55g. I'm no expert, but I've been getting some pretty cool looking baby oscars in at work...supposedly they are wild caught, but they are black with seriously bright gold stripes. Not sure what they would like grown out, but I like them a lot right now...I will see if I can get a picture tomorrow.

I have had Os before. I had 2 Emperor 400's. I now have one and a 13?watt UV sterilizer. I like these because I do not have the space for a canister and I can put whatever media I want in it. I usually add my own carbon and my own "fluff" to cut down on cost and to do what I like (if I need to go with no carbon, ie).

I do fear dearly for my cloth plants :(

This is beautiful from this site, but they call me with shipping cost so I need to know what it is before I buy, LOL.
Would be an interesting adult - Copper Oscar "new color" "not painted"

I am leaning towards this type right now.
Shipping $$ is the main concern, and they are out of stock :(

I am in love with the albinos that have bright yellow flecks all over (and eyes!) instead of red like the tigers, but I don't know what they are really called? I would call them albino sunshines :) Any help? Searching just "sunshine" only finds me the solid coloured O's

Anything newer out there?
There is one with yellowish vertical markings now I believe. Gotta find it.

I will put up a pic of mine soon. He is very albino with a nice orange "O" eye and very sparse markings, making him almost all white. Cool

old cell pics I had to find on one of my posts from quite a while back.
Would have more pics of the O at full size, but computer with those crashed.
He got even bigger after this, but these are all I could find.
Still would have around, but got rid of when I got rid of 220 and 90.
